Satnam Sri Waheguru

Satnam Sri Waheguru

This is wonderfully sung by Jagjit Singh. No doubt,  there is, the importance of Guru in Hindu religion. The most important book that is available to us elaborating the utmost importance of Guru is Guru Gita from Skanda purna.
Lord Shiva has clearly made it clear that Guru is everything there was and there is and there will be.
Here is an extract from Guru Gita second chapter.

I prostrate myself before that Guru, the Bliss of Brahman, the bestower of Supreme Happiness, who is Knowledge absolute, transcending the pairs of opposites, expansive like the sky, the goal indicated by the great sayings like “Thou art That”, the one eternal, pure, unchanging, the witness of functions of the intellect, who is above all Bhavas (mental conditions) and the three Gunas (Sattva, Rajas and Tamas).

Satnam sri wahe guru
greetings to the Almighty

Ehee naam hai sahara
your name is the support

Ehee naam hai adhara
your name is the melody

Muk Jande ne jism ta
when we die then

Par aatma amar hai
the soul is still eternal

Jide ang sang prabhu hai
the one who has god inside of him

Onu phir kisda daar hai
then he has no fear of anyone

If I am not Posting.
I may be doing something at these places:
